Red Dead Redemption 2: How to Sleep & Fast Forward Time?

Taking care of your character, Arthur is essential to success in the Red Dead Redemption 2 game. And sleep is important for Arthur’s health, among other things.

In this article, you will get to know different strategies for sleeping and speeding up time in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Let’s test how big of a RDR2 fan are you. Ready?

Arthur’s Health:

Firstly, let’s discuss why sleep is important in the game. Just like in real life, sleep is crucial for the restoration of your character’s health and dead eye power.

Dead eye power:

Dead eye power is an essential skill in the game that allows you to slow down time and aim precisely. So, if you’re out in the wild for too long without getting enough rest, you’ll eventually face difficulties replenishing your dead eye.

Take a nap:

To get some sleep, you can either head back to your main camp and sleep on a bed or rent a hotel room in any of the towns.

In some cases, you may even find hotel rooms in general stores or salons.

Once you’ve located a comfortable spot to lay down, just select the sleep option and decide when you want to wake up.

Tips for Saving Time:

Open the closed doors:

There are various solutions for you if you don’t have enough time and want to speed things up. You may attempt to open closed doors of stores, which will give you the option to wait until they open.

When asked, choose “morning,” and there you are! Time progresses.

Traveling fast:

Another way to fast forward the time is by fast traveling. You can do this by riding your horse, taking a stagecoach, or boarding a train.

The train is your best chance if you’re trying to find the fastest alternative. It’s an efficient way to travel and will move time along quickly.
